Paylow Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Paylow. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Paylow mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform” or “Service”), operated by Paylow Technologies Ltd. (“Paylow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Paylow. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Our Services

Paylow provides the following services:

Utility bill payments (electricity, water, cable TV, etc.)

Mobile airtime and data purchases

Wallet-to-wallet transfers and bank transactions

Payment tracking and reminders

Access to services such as travel bookings, school fee payments, and reward systems

Services may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must register an account to access most services.

Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.

Notify us immediately at support@paylow.ng if you suspect unauthorized access or activity.

4. Fees and Charges

Some services may include transaction fees, clearly disclosed before confirmation.

By proceeding with a transaction, you authorize Paylow to deduct the applicable amount from your wallet or linked payment method.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes

Provide false or misleading information

Violate the rights of others

Interfere with platform security or performance

6. Wallet Funding and Transactions

You may fund your Paylow Wallet via cards, bank transfers, or supported payment gateways.

Wallet balances are used to make payments or transfers within the platform.

Funds in your wallet do not accrue interest and are not bank deposits.

7. Third-Party Services

Certain services are powered by or integrated with third parties (e.g., banks, utility providers, transport firms). You agree to abide by their terms, and Paylow is not responsible for failures attributable to those third parties.

8. Disputes and Refunds

Transactions are generally irreversible once completed.

In the event of failed or disputed payments, contact support within 72 hours.

If eligible, refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe to your original payment method.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials, software, logos, and content on the Platform are the property of Paylow or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without our express permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paylow is not liable for:

Losses from unauthorized account access

Delays or failures of third-party services

Indirect or consequential damages from use of the Platform

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

If you violate these Terms

If we suspect fraud or abuse

As required by law or regulation

Upon termination, any unused wallet balance may be returned upon verification and subject to applicable laws.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.
